Position: Event Set Up Team (Operations)


Classification: Part Time/Seasonal


Reports to: Event Set Up Lead (Operations Lead)


Supervisor: Event Service Director


Job Summary: Reporting to the Event Set Up Lead (Operations Lead), this position will help to execute events with the Event Service Team. The position will facilitate the moving, set up and break down of event equipment to and from various locations on the property.


Job Duties:

  • Deliver, set-up and breakdown tables, chairs, speakers, stages, tents, etc. for use in both indoor and outdoor events
  • Work closely with the Event Service Director to drop linens, flatware, china & glassware at designated locations
  • Clean and organize event spaces post event, assuring the proper handling and storage of equipment
  • Work in conjunction or as part of the Event Service and Culinary Team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent in appropriate experience and/or certifications. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Prior Operations, Banquet or Event Experience preferred, but not necessary

Job Competencies:

  • Availability on nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

Working Conditions: Work will generally be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. Temperatures can range from 32 F to 100+ F and there may be exposure to loud noises and sustained elements. Working schedule is generally 40 hours per week, with some holidays, nights and weekends.
